Clotilde de SAXE-COBOURG GOTHA. Marie Adélaïde Amélie Clotilde de Saxe-Cobourg-Gotha (1846-1927), Princess of Saxony and, through her marriage, Princess Palatine of Hungary. Clotilde de Saxe-Cobourg-Kohary was the eldest daughter of Prince Auguste de Saxe-Cobourg-Kohary and the French Princess Clémentine d'Orléans. Eldest sister of King Ferdinand I of Bulgaria, she is also related, through her father, to the royal families of Belgium, Portugal and the United Kingdom, while her mother is descended from King Louis-Philippe I of France. On May 12, 1864, the Princess married Archduke Joseph of Habsburg-Lorraine, Count Palatine of Hungary, son of Archduke Joseph Antoine of Habsburg-Lorraine, Count Palatine of Hungary, and his third wife Princess Dorothée of Württemberg. - Letter A.S. written in VIENNA on November 20, 1893, addressed to a Baron, concerning the sale of his estate.
