A pair of pendants carved from tricolor “watermelon” tourmaline, depicting a monkey (hou) and a peach (tao), respectively, each set in a 9-karat (375 thousandths) yellow gold bail.
In Chinese iconography, the combination of the monkey and the peach is an auspicious motif, traditionally associated with success, prosperity, and longevity.
