A pair of pendants carved from tricolor “watermelon” tourmaline, depicting a monkey (hou) and a peach (tao), respectively, each set in a 9-karat (375 thousandths) yellow gold bail. In Chinese iconography, the combination of the monkey and the peach is an auspicious motif, traditionally associated with success, prosperity, and longevity. Chinese work from the 20th century. Height: 43 mm each - Total gross weight: 26.34 g
