Rectangular wristwatch in 18k yellow gold (750).
Circa 1935–1940
Elegant rectangular men’s or women’s wristwatch in 18k yellow gold (750) from the Art Deco period.
- Rectangular 18k yellow gold case with a clasped caseback. The inside of the caseback is beaded, numbered 10638884, and features gold hallmarks and the Omega trademark.
- Silvered, patinated dial with railway-track minute track, black-painted Arabic numerals, and applied gold arrow-shaped hour markers. Small seconds at 6 o’clock. Gold leaf-style hands.
- Hand-wound mechanical movement, Omega Caliber T17, 15 jewels, signed “OMEGA Swiss,” numbered 10458891.
- Black leather strap with lizard-skin texture, gold-plated pin buckle.
Dimensions: 34 x 21 mm
Total gross weight: 27.3 g (with strap).
Condition: Good overall condition for its age, with micro-scratches and slight signs of wear on the gold. Hallmarks are clearly legible.
Original dial with a pronounced patina and slight oxidation spots due to age.
The watch was not functioning at the time of appraisal; a service is recommended.
