“Swiss Chronograph” chronograph in 18k rose gold (750 parts per thousand).
Circa 1950
Men’s chronograph wristwatch in 18k rose gold (750 thousandths).
- Round 18k rose gold case with a clipped back. Case back engraved with gold hallmarks (18K / 0.750 cartouche, Swiss Helvetia head hallmark, case-setter’s hammer hallmark) and serial number 909312. Rectangular chronograph pushers.
- Salmon/rose gold dial, marked OLYMPIC / ANCRE 17 RUBIS / ANTIMAGNETIC. Arabic numerals (12, 6) and applied gold dagger-shaped hour markers. Two recessed sub-dials (small seconds at 9 o’clock, 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock). Tachymeter scale (in red) and telemeter scale (in black) on the hour ring. Leaf-style hands.
- Manual-winding mechanical movement, 17 jewels.
- Without bracelet (metal spring bars retained).

Condition: Good overall condition, slight micro-scratches from normal wear and small marks from opening the case back. Gold hallmarks and serial number perfectly clear. Plexiglass in good condition. Beautiful, uniform patina on the salmon-colored dial; slight oxidation/wear on the hands.
The watch was functioning at the time of appraisal; a routine service is recommended for optimal operation of the chronograph module; accuracy and power reserve are not guaranteed. No box or papers included.
