DUBUC JEUNE (Jean-Baptiste-Gabriel DUBUC, active in Paris from 1800 to 1817) Empire period (early 19th century) Clock with a “Liseuse” figure Chiseled bronze with two patinas: gilded and burnished. The white enamel dial, featuring Roman numerals and signed “Dubuc Jeune,” is framed by a guilloché bezel and accented with a garland of flowers. It is flanked by two tapered pilasters and surmounted by a gilded bronze fan motif.
