BOUCHERON Paris - Lot 352
BOUCHERON Paris Charming "Bird on a Pine Branch" brooch Circa 1960–1970. Crafted in 18K yellow gold (750 parts per thousand), depicting a crested bird perched on a pine twig. The plumage is finely crafted in chiseled gold filigree, known as “fil d’or,” lending relief and texture to the bird’s body. The eye is set with a round-cut ruby in a closed setting. It rests on a meticulously sculpted twig, bordered by pine needles arranged in a fan shape. Fastening system on the back consists of a single pin with a safety clasp. Signed BOUCHERON PARIS and numbered 1589. Gross weight: 14.18 g Condition: Very good overall condition. The finesse and precision of the engraving are perfectly preserved.
