MARLY, August 1, 1710. “I would be very pleased, Madam, to be able to secure for you the ruling you desire regarding the commissioners in the case that your sons have before the Grand Chamber against Monsieur de VILLEDIEU, but this is absolutely impossible, as the King has made it a rule not to appoint commissioners in any matter whatsoever without the consent of the parties…”
