She bears the title of Mademoiselle d’Armagnac: A document signed “Charlotte de LORRAINE” on a private deed granting 800 livres in salary to Sieur GOUSSARD DE FONTEBRUNE. Done in Paris “at our residence” on July 25, 1735. “We, Charlotte de LORRAINE, Princess of Armagnac, have granted to Sieur GOUSSARD DE FONTEBRUNE, our Receiver of the lands of Châteauneuf, La Bazolle, La Farge, and their dependencies, one-fifth of all that he shall collect from all ordinary and incidental revenues from my said lands that have accrued from St. Martin’s Day 1728 until the same day in 1730…” 1 page (33 x 22 cm)
