Paris, April 28, 1787 – 2 pages, in-4° – He sent the baptismal certificate of Mademoiselle de NARBONNE, with changes to her first names: “... The Duchess of NARBONNE, who had agreed to be godmother, went to Paris to the Hôtel de M. de MONTHOLON, where I sent her, as well as to Madame the Countess LOUISE, the customary gifts... The baptism took place in the Church of St. Eustache.... As the King has announced the establishment of provincial administrations... I shall remain close to the events, to live up to the trust that you, Gentlemen, have seen fit to place in me...”
