Victor François, Duke of BROGLIE (1718–1804), Marshal of the King’s Armies in 1789. He was one of the first to emigrate, first to Luxembourg, then to Prussia. Marshal of France—Document signed “Marshal de BROGLIE,” Marshal General of France, in Exile, Dated DÜSSELDORF (Germany), January 13, 1793. He grants “permission to Chevalier Henri Jacques de Kerampuil, a French officer who served in the Officers’ Company of the Artois Dragoon Regiment, to go about his business; we request that he be allowed to pass freely… ” Henri Jacques de SAISY DE KERAMPUIL, known as Chevalier de Kerampuil (1756–1838), Captain of the Dragoons in the Artois Regiment, émigré, Lieutenant Colonel during the Restoration, future Mayor of CARHAIX (29).
