AUFFRAY, Parish Priest of CHÂTEAUGIRON, read during the homily of our parish Mass on October 10, 1790.” ” The Law of August 16 and 24, 1790. This was the first major law on justice passed by the National Constituent Assembly. It remains known today as the foundation of the dual system of courts.
