Marquis de BOUILLÉ, François-Claude-Amour, (Clusel 1739–1800) General Officer, Commander of the Three Bishoprics, which included those of Alsace and Franche-Comté. His name is enshrined in a verse of *La Marseillaise*. His involvement in the attempted escape of Louis XVI and his family (Varennes) forced him into exile—Metz (Moselle), May 12, 1791.
