Letter with a large vignette on the letterhead and signed by the president of the canton of CELLES-MOLLEMBAIX, addressed to citizen Étienne LEQUENNE, a farmer in Celles, on the 9th of Floréal, Year 5 (April 28, 1797). “I invite you to take up the honorable position to which the residents of your commune have called you, next Friday, the 16th of this month, to proceed with your inauguration.” 1 folio page. Beautiful engraved vignette. “G B” collector’s stamp on the reverse.
