NASA. Don Pettit's Space Selfie. This photograph shows astronaut Donald R. Pettit during a spacewalk around the International Space Station. His camera and arms are reflected in his helmet visor, creating a spectacular space “selfie.” Commander Kenneth D. Bowersox also appears in the reflection, in the upper right. The two astronauts were performing maintenance work outside the station. This image has become one of the most famous self-portraits in the history of space exploration. 2003.
