National Volunteers.” Document signed by ROSIÈRES, Lieutenant General commanding the Army of the North, regarding the discharge of Citizen ESPERT, a volunteer in the said battalion, DUCARPE Company, a native of Pujols in the district of Livourne, Department of the GIRONDE, who served in the battalion until the present day prior to his injury—Dated at DOUAY (Douai, Nord) on April 27, 1793.
