LAVALETTE” in his capacity as Adjutant General, Commander of the Lorient district, and countersigned by Convention delegate MATHIEU, Representative of the People to the Army of the Brest Coast – Discharge from military service granted to Citizen BARBIER, born in SAUMUR, who was wounded in the line of duty by a gunshot to his left arm during a battle in the Vendée against bandits - Regiment seal: “11th Battalion, Department of PARIS.” Issued at GUIDEL, department of MORBIHAN, on the 19th of Vendémiaire, Year 4 (October 11, 1795) – (minor repairs). 2-page manuscript in oblong in-4° format.
