S. in METZ (Moselle) on September 11, 1746, to Mr. MAGNIN. 3 pages, in-4°. “I received your letter last night… along with that of Mr. de NEIPPERG, which is most gracious indeed… I am certainly very pleased that you were kind enough to take an interest in this matter… Just as I was finishing this letter, I received the memorandum from Mr. de SÉGUR, which is a reply to Mr. de MEIPPERG that you had sent to him—both regarding matters concerning him and to be forwarded to Mr. de SAXE (Marshal de SAXE). Please have it delivered to Marshal de NEIPPERG, and once I receive the letter from Marshal de SAXE, I will forward it to him.
