Jean-François de LA MARCHE, Bishop of SAINT-POL-DE-LÉON in 1772, founder of the College of Saint-Pol-de-Léon. He was forced to flee to England during the Revolution; born in the Diocese of Quimper (1729), died in London (1806) – Autograph letter signed from LÉON (Finistère), June 17, 1785—1 page, in-4°. A letter of congratulations on a position in the clergy and thanks for the reimbursements he made for the benefit of his minor seminary.”
