VICTOR (Claude-Victor PERRIN, Duke of BELLUNE, known as) Lamarche/VOSGES 1764–1841—Marshal of the Empire in 1807 - An apostille signed by VICTOR, Major General and Commander-in-Chief of the French Troops in Batavia, on a memorandum proposing the retirement of Lieutenant Joseph STIGEL. Dated at BREDA (Netherlands) on the 1st of Ventôse, Year 10 (February 20, 1802). Document also signed by the Council of the “17th Line Half-Brigade.” (SPIGEL fought in the campaigns in America (1780–1783) and in 1792 during Year 9; he was taken prisoner of war in Year 9) – 1 page, large folio.
