The Superior is in a position to prove this to you, as the last letter I wrote to him concerned specifically your community and the need to provide you with a good director… I will gladly continue to recommend Mr. Baudouin as your superior; he is better suited to the role than anyone else. He knows all of you, and since there is direct mail service from Chavagnes to La Rochelle, it takes very little time to receive news from one place to the other. You are right to count on my devotion; it will always lead me to do my best for a Congregation that could not be dearer to me… ”
