LILY DECORATION. Signed letter from the Duke of PIENNE, First Gentleman of the King’s Chamber. Paris, August 14, 1814. He informs Mr. BOYÉ, the owner, that the King has deigned to grant him the Fleur-de-Lys. “You are therefore authorized to wear it…” - Louis Marie Céleste d’AUMONT, Duke of VILLEQUIER, Duke of PIENNE, (1762–1831) was a military officer and politician. A deputy in 1789, he emigrated with his father, a Peer of France, in August 1815.
