Count Gaspard PÉCOU de CHERVILLE (Chartres (28) 1819–1898), man of letters, journalist, and collaborator of Alexandre DUMAS – Letter A.S. “Count G. de CHERVILLE,” addressed to Mr. de MILLEVILLE, of Paris, Rue des Petits Hôtels, dated November 18, 1843 (date stamp). He sent him a very brief note about his family. “I dare to hope that you will deign to include him in the armorial you are announcing; and I also ask you, Sir, to kindly count me among your subscribers. If these few lines are to be omitted, please let me know with a brief note, for in that case I would have the honor of asking you to send another copy to my brother.”
