In July, there will be an art exhibition at the Palais National to benefit the St. Cloud Lottery. Many of our most eminent artists have firmly promised to send their paintings to the exhibition. Since this is a way to showcase one’s work, I thought you might enjoy seeing one or more of your paintings there (as would the public and ourselves). Please be so kind as to let me know if you would be willing to lend one of your paintings, drawings—in short, anything you have available—for this exhibition… If any of your friends would be willing to contribute to our exhibition, please speak to them; we are calling on all talented artists.
