Juliette ADAM (1836–1936, writer and feminist salon hostess) - Lot 78
Juliette ADAM (1836–1936, writer and feminist salon hostess) / Signed autograph letter, 1 p., oblong in-8, December 14, 1882, to a general: “One of my friends, from a very good family, Madame Ney, the captain’s wife, is going to Tunis to accompany her husband, who is traveling to Gabès. You would be very kind to court her favor, introduce her to Madame Cambon, and recommend her on my behalf to Mr. Cambon so that she will not be too isolated in Tunis” [Paul CAMBON was at that time Resident-General in Tunisia]
