Small encyclopedia divided into five parts: Terms belonging to logic, terms belonging to morality, terms belonging to physics, terms belonging to metaphysics, more difficult terms belonging to theology. The author was a clerk at the Court of Aids and later chaplain to Louis XIII and Louis XIV, then secretary to Cardinal de Richelieu. The part devoted to Physics, which is the most developed, gives us a glimpse of the knowledge of the time, its beliefs and errors that amuse us today. A well-preserved copy.
